Prepare traditional meals
Whether your family celebrates with matzah, egg salad or potatoes au gratin, food is often a central part of the holiday festivities - and it's a tradition you can easily participate in from home! Find recipes for your favourite holiday meals and spend quality time in the kitchen with your family.
Looking back on the photos and memories of the past years
You can connect with loved ones who aren't physically present with you by remembering your favourite holiday traditions - ask family members to share a photo or holiday story in a group chat and enjoy reading everyone's responses!
Enjoy the outdoors
Being outside is a great way to meet safely with others. You can enjoy the sunshine and warm temperatures by taking a stroll around the neighbourhood or organising a picnic with your loved ones.
Participating in an online worship service
Many local churches offer live broadcasts of their services so you can participate without having to leave your home. See if your congregation has any special Easter events online, or check another faith's service to find out how they celebrate.
Easter recipes and crafts
It's a good time to start a new tradition by celebrating Easter, and you can do it easily with simple Easter recipes and crafts.
Easter Games
Divide everyone into pairs. Each pair of players is given two large egg cut-outs made of cardboard or thick cardboard. The first teammate stands on one egg and the second places the other egg cut-out on the ground in front of the first. The first teammate "jumps" to the second egg.
Enjoy some music
Nothing lifts your spirits like music. Create a playlist of Easter or Passover-centric music (or even just songs that make you smile!) and play it at home as you go about your day.
